Making a bigger splash!

in 1997 Malcolm and Margaret set up a family charity - known by many as Waves. Waves was set up in memory of Kes who died in 1996 while working for Barclays in Kenya. The charities aim is to give hope and opportunities to young Kenyans from disadvantaged backgrounds supporting them through education, including university. The charity also supports local green and eco friendly projects in Kenya including AFEW and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.

Every year the family would visit Nairobi to meet the students and encourage them, as well as visiting schools in Nairobi and also up country.

Malcolm is indeed 'dad' to many of those young people and has helped to give them a better life and the support that they need. Malcolm's rippling wave continues to have a positive impact on others through the charity he dedicated so much time and love to.
